<p>➀ A TSMC employee stole 9,980 IC semiconductor chips, selling them for 710,000 New Taiwan Dollars to individuals in the secondary market;</p><p>➁ The employee was also caught stealing nearly 1,000 storage chips from his former employer, Quanta Computer;</p><p>➂ The court sentenced the thief to 2 years and 6 months in prison and ordered him to pay TSMC 1.4 million New Taiwan Dollars in compensation.</p>
