<p>➀ Researchers at Aalto University have developed a miniaturized spectral sensor small enough to fit into smartphones or wearables.</p><p>➁ The sensor measures 5 micrometres by 5 micrometres, capable of distinguishing thousands of colors with high accuracy.</p><p>➂ Unlike traditional spectral sensors, this new sensor uses electrical responses to light, reducing size and cost, and making integration into everyday devices easier.</p>
